The Next Edition

ImageThe next and future issues
Issue 24 will focus on the relationship between individual curriculum subjects and thinking strategies, skills and dispositions. Issue 25 will include a feature on assessing the teaching of thinking and creativity. We will ask the question 'How do we know if anything works?' There will also be ideas for small-scale research projects for teachers and schools.

Topic  and cross-curricular work: a new series
In forthcoming issues, starting with Issue 24, we will report on cross-curricular schemes in primary schools and in secondaries at key stage 3. In issue 25 onwards we will include practical suggestions on how teaching thinking could assist such schemes.  

Regular features
We will continue our regular features on:

  • all aspects of teaching thinking and creativity at all key stages
  • using the arts in education
  • visual tools for thinking
  • philosophy for children
  • reviews of resources
